Well, we're only 4 blocks from "Golden Gate Park", so we went on a reconnaissance mission. And we found flowers blooming in December, on trees no less. A holly bush along a path in the woods, a few good trails, tunnels, views, community buildings (conservatory, museum and science center) and the schedule for free admittance to the facilities - it pays to go to the information center and say "hi, were interested in exploring this cool park by our house."

Wow! Thanks for updating your blog. We've been thinking about you and wondering how its going! Phil and Julie and girls are back home from Doha so they're here with my folks today. It's -3 here right now so these pictures are going to tempt us to head to warmer climates......
